Thread: I want to share everything on my laptop

i have hp laptop use testing , learning ubuntu , linux. able share entire hd every usb device plugged can access anywhere on lan. possible , how can this?

have samba app installed reason trying share test folder doesn't work. none of other computers (a mixture of macs, windows machines , linux machine, can't see hp laptop. missing , there code can use post results thread? using ubuntu 11.04.
