Created new site in sub folder and moved - failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi guys i'm experimenting joomla 3.x. i've created new 3.x install in sub folder of root called test4.

i've created new sub folder in root called testv3upg copied directory's test4 testv3upg edited configuration.php point log file , tmp file paths :

var $tmp_path = '/home/mydomain/public_html/testv3upg/tmp';
var $log_path = '/home/mydomain/public_html/testv3upg/logs';

but cant access site message

the requested page cannot found.
an error has occurred while processing request.
you may not able visit page because of:
out-of-date bookmark/favourite
mistyped address
search engine has out-of-date listing site
have no access page
go home page

if try accsing admin cpanel blank page.

in past i've created site in subfolder them moved root/public_html unsure of joomla 3.x created 3.x site in sub folder of root , created subfolder ( see above) test move 1 folder , results above.

have missed or cant move joomla installion 1 folder joomla 3.x?

an update seem have found issue.

when create joomla site try follow best practice , password protect administrator directory. hence test4/administrator directory set-up password protection in cpanel test4/administrator directory.

once deleted test4 directory password protection went , website copied test4 tesv3upg works expected.

a lesson learned may else.

p.s happens when try , these things after 9 hours @ work upgrades when awake alert lol...
