Interactive Histograms?
hello,
i still learning photoshop , trying figure out how make histogram panel interactive , cumulative.
by mean:
1. click, shift click, or control-click on histogram causes corresponding points on image light up
2. click, ****-click, or control-click (or otherwise select) on image , corresponding points on histogram light up
optionally, hide selected colors (and redraw histogram) or vice-versa
3. make histograms cumulative, can see how many points above/below given point.
some of information available in info panel.
all these capabilities have been around decades in scientific world (i wrote in '80s), expected see them in premier application photoshop.
additionally, there 2-d , 3-d histogram plugins available? (2d represent data on user selectable plane (e.g. rg or hunter a,b) height @ each point being frequency. 3-d histogram represent use rgb or lab 3 dimensions , use luminance or colored bubble vizualize frequency in each location. (philogl has nice example of latter @ http://www.senchalabs.org/philogl/philogl/examples/histogram/)
thanks.
