Why does Premiere crash so often?

i've been premiere user 8 years now, because of reticence have train on system. must adobe engineers have been helpful , willing assist on every problem i've encountered. handful of problems dealt incompatibilities , failures of cineform software, have since abandoned. don't want add hours of hard work unreliability has cost me, on phone tech support or posting messages these. it's large number though, i'm sure.

 

but if make transition smoothly, would, frankly. i'm astonished if manage single day without premiere crashing @ least 4 times. has been true since day one, across multiple machines, on different systems, mac , pc.

 

sigsev, bad access, kernel panic, sorry error occurred, attempt save current project. these , similar phrases have become lexicon. remain premiere user solely because there handful of features not present on other systems make job easier, despite instability.

 

am unlucky? have others had similar experience?

 

this post effluvium of losing 2 hours of work because of crash , failure of autosave feature. premiere reliable in reliably unreliable, , hope i'm not waiting improvement never comes.

yes if system in decent spec , setup...no in experience,

 

 

i had dredge memory recall crash or hang or restart or project file corruption. ...  (windows 7, cs6).

 

only thing recall crash audio effect applied...and long time ago.
