Difference between spider, crawler and robots? - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all, looks spider, crawler, robots same many says both terms different. had searched many forums, posts didn't exact answer. tell me this.... consider , work on suggestion given you..

spider , crawler technically same, except spider used tool used crawl website, while crawler used search engines (also crawling website).

i think mean "robot" , not "robots" (which text file instructing search engines index , not index), , "robot" means technically crawler or spider crawling website (such googlebot, bingbot, other tool/search engine). robot can mean spider or crawler.

of course, others may terms equivalent, , that's ok, because definitions subjective.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
