CQ5.5 Issue on Solaris

hi,

 

i have installed cq5.5 author , publish instances on solaris 10 version.

 

and java version jdk_1.6.0_27.

 

after installation working fine later in idle time instances getting hanged.we unable login.

 

i mean on cq5.5 welcome console after giving username , password not accepting , hanged on page.

 

can please let me know whether solaris compatible os install cq5.5 instances or not?

 

is solaris recommended os adobe?

 

if supported me solve issue.

solaris 10 on support level a, means full supported.

 

please provide more details on "hanging", log information (error.log) of time, plus request.log. add garbage collection logging make sure, not memory issue.

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

uppercase letters in url - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hello all, i in process of migrating joomla 2.5 1.5. 1 of categories in 1.5 version had capital letters in name. in joomla 2.5, uppercase letters in article/menu/category alias automatically converted lowercase. i tried changing menu alias in database, caused 404 error in category-blog page. i have been trying many days find solution, reason being many of pages category in 1.5 site have lots of facebook likes don't want lose. does work-around exist allow me manually change category/menu alias category blog page , articles have category name uppercase letters? any appreciated. thanks! you can 301 redirect uppercase urls lowercase.
