"Missing Push Notification Entitlement" when submitting Air app to IOS AppStore

after submitting air app (and update existing app) app store, i've received automated message itunesconnect stating app ""missing push notification entitlement". full message follows:

dear developer,

we have discovered 1 or more issues recent delivery "xxxx". delivery successful, may wish correct following issues in next delivery: missing push notification entitlement - app appears register apple push notification service, app signature's entitlements not include "aps-environment" entitlement. if app uses apple push notification service, make sure app id enabled push notification in provisioning portal, , resubmit after signing app distribution provisioning profile includes "aps-environment" entitlement.

i've submitted multiple updates , never had issue. furthermore, don't use push notifications, , far can tell not enabled (nor ever configured or enabled) in relevant app id on developer portal nor in application.xml. air app, far can tell, isn't including classes used receive push notifications either.

any thoughts, ideas?

this seems strange can verify entitlements of app using following command on mac.

codesign -d --entitlements - <yourappname>.app

if dont anything, can provide same feedback apple review team application not uses push notifications service @ , application reviewed successfully.
