Footer disappears when I use tooltip widget on top?

i have footer on page band of grey. on have various social media icons. each of these icons wanted use tooltip. happens when previw it, footer background grey band practically dissapears tiny thin band if covering rest of it. if take tooltip away, gets normal.

 

does know happening here?? thanks

i have since done more investigating , found out if footer background extends way across bottom of site, causes issue if move footer in pixel or edge of site, it's fixed. mean can't have footer bar going across whole browser window though.

 

would appreicate help! thanks

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
