Quasar template - problem when I resize the search box-fixed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

edit - has been sorted. ended doing take .png file search bar theme template, crop down (cut amount frmo middle) , put togeather. rezise image , tehn upload again. worked perfectly.

oh , sorry if english bad. not native tongue...

so here little problem having..

when use search module/extension original joomla on quasar (rockettheme) template works , all. when put on top-b section of template changes normal doll gray search box black box assume template changing. (see screenshots)

i want keep black , @ potition... can not means resize properly. if alter code size of box cuts of end of search box. instead of shrinking it, meaning search icon disapears...

so want this:
1: make box shorter. maybe around 180-190 pix - similar date text above.
2: bring box , date text closer each other!

anyone out there able point me in right direction since friend google not show me answere? (that might cause of me being tired , overseeing things if case sorry post :/ )
