InDesign simply not behaving.

hi,

this isn't problem. it's 1 of staff members. she's on pc. me (though i'm on mac), she's ccloud user, so, has latest version of id. anyway, i've asked open 2 files today. both files, indesign goes wacky on her. when selects type, can't change font. can't change point size. nothing. of palettes seem freeze up. not literally because can move mouse around, but, cannot make changes in design palettes @ top of screen. (in book, kind of thing why moved mac last year). i've seen palettes on over left side of screen open when she's on over right side of screen. problem apparently happening on colleague of ours pc, but, has idcs4. want her. has seen this?
