Thread: USB Boot: Cannot use /dev/sda


hello,

i've been trying install ubuntu onto acer aspire 1 netbook using usb boot. have tried use both unetbootin , universal usb installer no luck.

unetbootin makes screen hang @ syslinux boot screen.

universal usb installer gets me ubuntu purple loading screen gives me error thay cannot use '/dev/sda' have been unable install ubuntu on system.

have tried use gparted live cd wipe hard drive clean encounter same system hanging @ syslinux boot screen.

there other bootloaders can try resolve issue?

have tried unetbootin

can't usb-creator-gtk work @ moment unetbootin me.
