Bending text up?

hello everybody,

 

so, learned how bend text using ellipse , "attach path", however, want text bend in semi circle. don't want go way around circle, bend in half circle kind of way.

 

i have tried starting out text upside down see if hop onto circle way, alas, doesn't. have tried drawing need vector too, however, unable draw , text ends looking sloppy.

 

is there way text bends up in semi circle instead of bending down? there has way.

if not, consider adding screenshot of you're trying accomplish. best failure might helpful in illustrating problem.
