Thread: keys not working properly in terminal program

i had installed jdk , required programs work on java.
when make new program byr vi programname.java
, when new file open keyboard keys not working properly
when press scroll down keys b printed , backspace not working.

i might making poor assumption here, pardon me if i'm wrong. sounds might not familiar using vi write scripts. it's not intuitive think @ first, , might better "nano" write scripts. replace "vi" "nano" when you're trying create script:
