Need An Extension - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

hi,

i hope i'm posting in correct forum. i'm looking extension website. site envisioned newspaper of sorts mathematics teacher community here in murka. want extension allow me feature new material on landing page, while archiving older material in way easy find. receive material email attachment in .txt format, (mostly) .ps graphics, freelance authors located in america, , possibly europe. (i'm not entirely sure europeans have familiarity mathematics, though.) have spent several days looking @ extensions on main joomla website, , @ websites of other template/extension makers, no luck. refuse believe no such extension exists. if point me in direction of such extension, i'll gladly buy him/her carrot.

on different matter, no see write signature.

it display items 1 or multiple categories, in order desire ie; latest, popular, commented, highest rated etc.

you have option display homepage category blog display excerpt or intro text of each article, , automatically create pagination

2.5.28 to 3.4.1---Download of update package failed - Joomla! Forum - community, help and support

went 2.3* whatever 2.5.28 same message.. had install via extension manager: install.. seemed work fine.. updated extensions , db.. tried run install again joomla! update module , download of update package failed message.. tried install extension manager: install. again , nothing.. don't seem have jommla_update.php file on server.. using godaddy plesk.. fun installed 3.4.1 on server using godaddy applications , worked fine.. i have seen server might out of space.. not issue here. permissions set correctly can tell. i new take easy on me.. any ideas? viewtopic.php?f=621&t=582860 Board index Joomla! 3.x - Ask Support Questions Here Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 3.x

hi all, searched , saw nothing related it. did quickinstall of joomla 3.3.6. when goto site location in browser error in subject. server specs below. wrong in assuming should ok , if know of fix. php: 5.4.32 could double check php version? create (eg phpinfo.php) file on server containing code: select all <?php phpinfo(); and open file in browser (via eg www.example.com/phpinfo.php ) ? for safety reasons remove file server after double checking.
