i have big problem joomla site.
the site type news, news multilingual (version 6)
with average of 100 articles day, it's been on year online, @ beginning working well,
but starts problems !!!
failed server, no ping, no ftp access, no access cpanel ... no answer in general.
this site works on dedicated server basic service mysql.
now number of visits high, requests, traffic, see enormous consumption on our site, asking us.
the problem arises how can ensure excellent performance of environment (server + services)
is have go emergency mode mysql company have management requests.
is must go technical:
loadbalancing, cluster, cdn, caching server.
thank in advance, need decision , i'd love see ideas , proposals

joomla not handle amount of articles no core changes. need ensure mysql configuration settings optimal.
if website goes offline when adding data make sure query cache not set high value. see: http://www.itoctopus.com/updating-the-h ... -read-this . higher query cache, more problems have on joomla website.
also, check slow query log , optimize slow queries see there.
once above, can play caching faster response. managing joomla sites literally have on 200k articles , working 1 type of cache running (the main joomla cache, , not system cache).
