How do I position a apDiv tag?

hi there,

i having trouble trying position apdiv tag (apdiv1).

how position when browser window resized, stays directly under words "quick links"

also, know why 2 faint lines appearing in bottom half of page?

first, there's no reason @ apdivs in layout.  away altogether.

 

the lines appearing because footer 1 big image , it's not repeating image , either doesn't go edge or doesn't match your.  again has layout.  there no reason make big images have.  make simple 450px high 5px wide image , use footer bg.  set repeat-x.

 

my suggestion start template or framework bootstrap out coding , @ making site css.

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
