Thread: Wireless no longer working - kind of new to Ubuntu

hi all, have hp dv4 2040us. i've had issues wifi since go wireless connection cut out @ random. thought issue driver used ndiswrapper tool in software center install driver card (atheros ar298x). after reboot, can longer access wireless, unless can fix, laptop grounded wired internet.

i've uninstalled windows driver, not showing wireless card ever. know how can reinstall ubnutu drivers?

i've gotten wireless working again using

sudo modprobe -a ath9k

allows me turn on original wireless driver. know of way make stick? issue i'm still running have use code on every boot, there way have starts on boot?
