hi,
i'm new joomla, , planning on creating website/web-application allows users find doctor list (by advanced search per fields), book appointment online , pay session. also, each user can upload files him , online doctor can see.
is possible in joomla 3?

can create entity in joomla called 'doctor' many fields , allow user search fields?
i've used drupal before , had module called views, allows create formatted list of answers db query, there similar in joomla? (i hope d word allowed in here...)

any modules/components should creating i've described above?

btw, in drupal, common answer "it's best write own module..." case joomla well?

you may want have @ content construction kits (cck) k2, seblod , fabrik in joomla extensions directory (jed): http://extensions.joomla.org/tags/content-construction

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
