? about making my own symbols

i not sure if right area post this. excuse me in advance.

 

i want make own symbols can animate them in flash.

ie: chopping faces on mt rushmore , making them talk. having rat use cell phone. things of nature. picked flash final render due small crisp size. albeit prem pro pretty nice export. took 330mb file , exported f4v 11mb , still pretty nice.

 

i subbed class on demand. have access many tutorials. yet, not sure start. want take cartoon of rat or mouse, have it's arms move, him twist etc.  think done in program (which have master suite) start ai intermediate class, moving intermediate. pro a.effects. have not figured program 'chop-up' cartooned mouse parts can 'bone'.

asked here because figure guys doing flash have create assets/symbols , want them animate. please point me in right direction of software should familiarize myself within adobe's master suite. has all... start? told ae if create assets/symbols there, import flash? able use action script final render? in advance detailed response.

there's more 1 way skin cat.

 

if create true 3d objects there's gpu accelerated 3d engine (stage3d) can utilize. saves ton of work drawing different sides of character , may worth time invested.

 

as animation, beginner in might want @ assist http://beta.toonboom.com/professionals/animate. compliments flash , assists in character creation , animation.

 

if wish yourself, each part pretty in-depth. in short, you'll drawing angles desire character individual parts. can export them sprite sheets overall efficiency or animate hand in flash itself. flash has bone system built in.

 

if lowering size important nothing beat keeping animation directly in flash itself. video larger. ae or premiere way go if you're targeting youtube solely if want share via website although it's bit harder work in ae, flash open door dynamic animations. things see online cutting out someones head, pasting on character while animating dancing, etc.

 

if dynamic animation or getting file size around 1/10th size isn't important sticking ae might better idea.

 

for this, regardless if it's ae or flash, you'll live in apps ai , photoshop assets while combining them in either flash or ae. sound audition.
