ssh secure mechanism allow connect remote machine (usually server) , act if physically sat @ machine using console.

secure , fast, can use ssh-x forwards x requests local machine can run graphical apps locally remote server.

though used remotely administer server can used , allow connect linux desktop also, , carry out secure admin.
