CRXDE over HTTPS

hello!

 

does know if it's possible connect crxde secured cq5.5 instance?  i'm running 1 @ https://mycq5.mydomain.com , works in browser.  however, when trying connect crxde instance, never lets me past login screen error "could not connect. please check connection settings."

 

has done before?

can check browser tool, if have networking issue or requests returning different http status 200?
