Adobe Help Manager Issue

whenever update local out-of-date files using adobe manager, download fine. comes small dialog saying, "please wait while downloaded files extracted. extracting large files may take several minutes."

 

i've let thing sit there chugging away 2 days, , never goes away, or extracts files. can close dialog , quit. this, of course, leaves me no new files.  :-(

 

adobe manager version 4.0.0244 (it says ahm date.) - macos 10.6.8 - 1.5 tb disk space available.

can launch adobe application manager applications folder , ensure updates installed , version new admin account, log out of current account , new 1 , test whether same behavior occurs there?

hi i trying upgrade joomla 2.5.27 3.6. have checked requirements (i've upgraded site), purged cache , gone short term support, when click save & close told (as before) have latest joomla version - not offer me joomla 3.6 (or else). have suggestions please? thank you c you can download joomla 3.x update , install manually using joomla's extension installer. don't forget create backup before doing that.
